Despite a valiant effort, the Barons fell short with a final score of 11-7 in favor of the Wolf Pack. The game saw impressive performances from several Barons' players under cloudy skies and blustery conditions. Jeremi Lara stood out with a two-run homer in the fifth inning, totaling three RBIs for the game. Marquette Gibson also left a mark with a homerun in the first inning and a double later in the game, contributing two RBIs. Meanwhile, Alex Muns took the mound as the starting pitcher, facing challenging moments but showing resilience through his pitching. The Barons will face Loyola University in a series-deciding doubleheader on April 5, 2025, in New Orleans, La. After this game, the team's record sits at 11-24.
