Barons Fall to #3 Southeastern
The Barons hosted the #3 Southeastern Fire on the mats February 1, 2025 in Mount Vernon. Despite best efforts the Barons were unable to stop the talent of a top ranked team. The Fire bested the Barons with a score of 50-3 highlighting the talent of a top five ranked team nationally. Kullum Irvin's effort in the 141 matchup was a key moment for Brewton-Parker as he managed to score against a tough opponent. This win from Irvin, demonstrating his skill and resilience under pressure. As the Barons look ahead, their attention turns to the upcoming dual against Andrew College on February 6, 2025. The team hopes to leverage the experience gained from this meet and improve their current season record of 5-7. With no specific opponent at the open event, the focus will be on individual performances and overall team enhancement.
