Brewton-Parker Barons Lose Nail-Biter to Mobile Rams

The Barons hosted the Mobile Rams in a thrilling back-and-forth conference match in Mount Vernon. The Rams proved to be too much for the Barons to stop. The Barons came up just short with a final score of 84-88. The game was a rollercoaster, featuring multiple lead changes that kept fans on the edge of their seats. The Rams took a significant lead by halftime, outscoring the Barons 46-38. The second half saw Brewton-Parker fighting to cut the lead. The Barons were led by top scorer Tommy J Tisdale III, who amassed an impressive 26 points. Notable performances from Ferlin Joseph Jr. and Dre Burroughs, who each added 16 points, were also featured. Joseph Jr. also dominated the boards with 11 rebounds. Key moments that defined the game included a critical three-pointer by Mobile's BJ Comer, which significantly extended their lead during the second quarter. The Barons did not back down easily, staging a late rally spearheaded by three-pointers from Dre Burroughs, but they were unable to overcome the deficit. Brewton-Parker aims to regroup and focus on their next challenge against Life University in Marietta, Ga. As they continue their season with a current record of 6-10 and 2-5 in the conference, the Barons are determined to improve and bounce back the rest of the way.
