In a thrilling conference clash, the Brewton-Parker Lady Barons clinched a dominant 75-47 victory against the Point University Skyhawks on December 6, 2025, at the West Point Park Gymnasium. This win gives the Lady Barons their first of the year, improving their season record to 1-9 overall and 1-1 in the conference. The game started strong for Brewton-Parker, with Chasity Degale and Ja'Ka'yah Draughn putting early points on the board, helping the Lady Barons to a 7-point lead by the end of the first quarter with a score of 22-15. The momentum continued in the second quarter, with Adrian Stewart's performance dominating, giving the team a 40-30 halftime lead. Brewton-Parker's defense was dominant, with multiple steals contributing to their solid lead. The third quarter saw Brewton-Parker expand its lead by 20 points, spearheaded by standout plays from Stewart and Degale. The team's effective fast-break execution and sharp shooting pushed the score to 60-40 by the end of the third. The final quarter saw the Lady Barons not only maintain but also further extend their lead, closing the game 75-47.
