Tristan McKee Wins Owens Corning 200 After Commanding Night at Toledo Speedway

Tristan McKee took the checkered flag first in the Owens Corning 200 at Toledo Speedway, beating Jake Bollman and Thomas Annunziata to the line in the sixth ARCA Menards Series race of the 2026 season. Carson Brown finished fourth and Cayden Quapple rounded out the top five, while Isabella Robusto charged from the back of the field to finish sixth. For City Garage Motorsports, the night became a grind-it-out short-track effort marked by recovery work, traffic management and survival through a race that featured four cautions, including scheduled breaks at laps 75 and 125.

The decisive moment occurred at the beginning of the race. Max Reeves initially led from the pole position, but the dynamics of the race quickly shifted when a collision near the front on lap 7 allowed Tristan McKee to seize the lead. McKee's performance thereafter was dominant, as he controlled the race for the majority of the 200 laps, leading an impressive 139 laps and consistently widening the gap during restarts and amidst traffic. Despite four caution periods that bunched up the field, each restart only served to underscore McKee's authority, showcasing his skill in cleanly launching and defending his track position on the challenging half-mile oval circuit.

The race had the kind of rhythm Toledo often creates, long green-flag runs interrupted by incidents and strategy-heavy caution periods. A scheduled break at lap 75 and another at lap 125 put tire management and pit decisions in focus, especially with limited tires available through the day. Teams had to weigh whether to preserve fresher rubber or chase balance adjustments for the closing run. The cautions also created chances for drivers trying to recover, including Andy Jankowiak, who crashed early, returned after repairs and finished 21st, and Max Reeves, who lost a lap after early trouble but battled back to ninth despite never fully regaining the pace that put him on pole.

City Garage Motorsports found one of the night's better stories in a resilient run from the CGM entry, which overcame engine problems in practice, qualified late and still spent much of the race battling inside the top 15. The team kept the car in the fight through the scheduled breaks and the heavy traffic that defined much of the night at Toledo. By the closing stages, the CGM machine was running 12th and had gone three laps down, but it remained on track and showed enough pace to turn a difficult start to the weekend into a valuable finish for the program.

Up front, the battle behind the winner remained active even if the lead did not. Jake Bollman stayed composed and protected his points position, even after a late flat tire cost him on the final lap and tightened the margin at the finish. Thomas Annunziata completed a strong run in third, while Quapple impressed in his debut with a fifth-place finish. Robusto's drive may have been the field's best recovery, as she started last after an engine issue in practice and worked her way to sixth through patience, clean restarts and a car that came alive over longer runs.

The result kept Jake Bollman at the top of the championship standings, with Ryan Vargas also helping himself in the points race by finishing seventh. For City Garage Motorsports, the night offered a useful short-track test under race pressure and another data point in a season that has already demanded adaptability.
