2026 Athlete of the Year: Nevaeh Hall caps a standout Valley Forge career

Chris Medaglia | Valley Forge High School | Apr 30, 2026

Nevaeh Hall has given Valley Forge High School another milestone to celebrate, earning 2026 Athlete of the Year honors after building one of the Patriots' most decorated track and field resumes in recent memory. Hall is a three-time state qualifier and a three-time All-Ohio Track and Field honoree, a record of consistency and excellence that has kept her among the area’s top performers across multiple events.

Her 2025 season showed exactly why she has become such a standard-bearer for the Patriots. Hall finished second in the long jump at the OHSAA Track and Field Championships, placed eighth in the 100-meter dash at the state meet, and also qualified for state in the 200-meter dash. She added first-place CWC all-conference finishes in three events, the 100, 200 and long jump, underscoring both her range and her ability to deliver in the biggest moments. Hall also reached the OHSAA state meet in 2024, making her a proven presence on the postseason stage year after year.

That body of work reflects more than talent alone. Competing at a high level in sprint events while also excelling in the long jump demands preparation, focus and the willingness to carry a heavy workload, and Hall has done it while representing Valley Forge with steady leadership. Her example is clear in the results: she did not just qualify, she scored, placed and kept raising the bar for what Patriots track athletes can chase at the conference and state levels.

Now Hall’s career is set to continue at Ohio University, where she will compete on a track scholarship. For Valley Forge, her Athlete of the Year recognition stands as a celebration of a competitor who turned repeated state appearances into lasting school pride, and who leaves behind a model of excellence for the next Patriots runners and jumpers to follow.
