WARNER SID | Warner University | Apr 9, 2025

In a challenging afternoon for the Warner University Royals, the lacrosse team faced a significant defeat against the University of Lynchburg Hornets with a final scoreline of 20-1 on March 10, 2025, at Lake Wales, Fla.

From the onset, the Hornets took a commanding lead, finishing the first half up 14-1, and they didn’t let up. Despite the efforts of Warner's players, only Anaya Lister managed to break through Lynchburg's defenses to score the Royals' sole goal, assisted by Natalie Frisanco. On the defensive end, Warner's goalkeeping duo of Krisandra Ford and Noralee Sprague faced an onslaught, with Ford saving 10 out of 23 shots in her 45 minutes on field and Sprague managing 2 saves against 9 shots in the remaining 15 minutes.

Looking ahead, Warner University’s lacrosse team will seek to rebound from this tough outing as they prepare to take on the St. Thomas Bobcats in Miami Gardens, FL, on March 13. With a current season record of 4-5 and 1-0 in conference, the Royals are looking to regain their form and add a win in their upcoming SUN Conference encounter.
