Warner University Royals Face Tough Loss Against Keiser Seahawks in SUN Conference Lacrosse
In a challenging SUN Conference lacrosse match on April 3, 2025, Warner University Royals suffered a significant defeat against the Keiser Seahawks. The game, held at the Multi-Purpose Field in West Palm Beach, Fla, concluded with the Royals down 24-2 against the Seahawks.
From the onset, Keiser demonstrated strong control on the field, leading 15-2 at halftime. Despite noble efforts from Warner players, the Royals couldn't close the significant gap in score. Notably, Bailey Dykes and Anaya Lister managed to score for Warner, with Bailey Lightsey helping on the assist end. However, Keiser's offensive potency was highlighted by Peyton Tomlinson scoring the game-winning goal as her first of the match.
In aiding the defensive effort, Noralee Sprague and Kaylin Brown shared responsibilities as goalies for the Royals. Their performance was crucial in keeping the game under control amidst an aggressive opponent effort.
Looking forward, the Royals will seek to rebound in their upcoming game against the SCAD Bees on April 5, 2025, at the Tye Athletic Field in Lake Wales, FL. This will be another SUN Conference test for the team, as they aim to improve on their current season record of 4-10, holding a 1-4 in conference games. Warner's fans and coach remain optimistic and ready to support their team in the next challenge.
