Warner University Royals Fall to Keiser Seahawks in SUN Conference Volleyball Clash

In a gritty SUN Conference volleyball contest at West Palm Beach, Fla., the Warner University Royals faced a challenging defeat against the Keiser Seahawks on November 1, 2024, with a final scoreline of Warner 1, Keiser 3. The match unfolded with the Royals showing tenacity despite the Seahawks' dominant performance.

The match began with Keiser setting a strong pace, winning the first set 25-16 and maintaining momentum with a 25-12 victory in the second set. The Royals, however, showcased their resilience in the third set, clinching a narrow 30-28 win in a gripping exchange that highlighted their determination and skill. Unfortunately, their comeback fell short in the fourth set, where Keiser sealed their victory with a 25-21 score.

Highlighting individual performances, Kailani Zezas led with a remarkable 36 kills and contributed 3 blocks and an ace, supported strongly by teammates Skye McDermott with 24 kills and 3 aces, and Leonelis Lopez with 29 kills. Defensive efforts were led by Imar Laboy with 15 digs, while Leah Cooley added to both blocks and digs for the Royals.

Warner's journey in the SUN Conference continues, as they look to regroup and face Southeastern Fire on November 6, 2024, in Lakeland, FL. The Royals, currently with a record of 9-13, are eager to turn their season around with an improved performance in upcoming matches.
