Warner University Royals Secure Historic Victory in SUN Conference Opener
In a landmark event for Warner University's Women's Lacrosse program, the Royals clinched their first-ever SUN Conference win by defeating the New College of Florida Banyans with a decisive score of 18-6 on March 5, 2025, in Lake Wales, FL.
From the starting whistle, the Royals showcased their dominance, concluding the first half with a formidable lead of 7-3. This set the tone for the rest of the competition, where they extended their advantage and sealed the win. Key player Bailey Dykes starred in the match, contributing significantly with 8 goals and 2 assists, including the game-winning goal. Anaya Lister and Bailey Lightsey were also pivotal in this victory, scoring 4 and 6 goals respectively.
