Williamsburg Wildcats Clinch a Shutout Victory Over East Clinton Astros
In an impressive display of skill and teamwork, the Williamsburg High School Wildcats earned a decisive 10-0 victory against the East Clinton Astros in their regular season baseball contest on April 15, 2025, at East Clinton High School. The win under the cold, cloudy skies marked a significant performance as the Wildcats improved their season record to 2-3.
Leading the charge were multiple standout players, with J. Kreimer scoring three runs, followed closely by C. Pauley who added two runs to the tally. Contributions also came from A. Holden, B. Malott (who also hit a homerun), C. Carson, A. Hatter, and B. Schoumacher, each adding a single run. Schoumacher not only excelled at bat but also dominated on the mound. Starting as the pitcher, he gave up just two hits and recorded seven strikeouts across six innings, showcasing a commendable performance that halted the Astros’ offense.
