Williamsburg Wildcats Softball Faces Withrow Tigers in Reds Futures High School Showcase Event
On April 12, 2025, the undefeated Williamsburg High School Wildcats will face off against the Withrow Tigers in a highly anticipated softball event. This day is not just any regular game β it marks a special celebration of Jackie Robinson Day, held at the Reds Youth Academy as part of the Reds Futures High School Showcase. The game day will begin with both teams taking infield; Withrow at 10:00 AM followed by Williamsburg at 10:10 AM. Official activities will start at 10:20 AM with ground rules before moving to the player introductions and the national anthem. The first pitch is scheduled for 10:30 AM. Rick Healey, the head coach of the Wildcats, who has led the team to a stellar 7-0 record this season so far. Apart from exciting softball action, fans have numerous perks to look forward to. Those attending will find parking available in the Main Lot off Seymor Avenue, with each fan receiving a voucher for a FREE View Level ticket to a select Reds' game in 2025. Additionally, there will be opportunities to savor local flavors as fans will also receive a coupon for a FREE Skyline Cheese Coney at participating Skyline Restaurants. Highlighting the festive atmosphere, the team will participate in a parade of teams on May 4th before a Reds game that starts at 4:10 PM.
