Baraboo 8th Grade Faces Tough Loss in Football Game Against Lodi Blue Devils

On September 25, 2025, the Baraboo Thunderbirds 8th Grade Boys Football team, faced off against the Lodi Blue Devils at Flambeau Field at Beryl Newman Stadium. The weather was perfect, with a sunny day setting the stage for this anticipated regular-season game. Despite ideal conditions, the Thunderbirds were unable to secure a win, concluding the game with a final score of 26-0 in favor of Lodi. The game was a rescheduled event initially set against West Salem but was canceled due to inclement weather earlier in the week. With the unexpected change, the Thunderbirds took to the field under the Alliance League rules, prepared to showcase their season-long training. Throughout the game, Baraboo struggled with executions, particularly with fumbled snaps and pass plays which gave Lodi short fields and multiple scoring opportunities.
