Baraboo High School Thunderbirds Boys Varsity Golf Team Competes at Wild Rock Golf Course
On May 12, 2025, the Baraboo High School Thunderbirds Boys Varsity Golf team took part in a tournament at Wild Rock Golf Course in Wisconsin Dells under ideal weather conditions. The team ended the day with a commendable score of 333. Freshman Cooper Jauch led the Thunderbirds with an impressive score of 82, making it the lowest round for the team on that day. Junior Jon Moon was close behind with a score of 83. Sophomores Jack Brinker and freshman Finley Schindler both contributed significantly, carding an 84 each, while freshman Peyton Olson rounded out the team's scoring with a 93. Head Coach Landon Brownell praised the team's efforts and highlighted their focus on further improving their skills. 'Our guys have been working hard on their games and will focus on some specifics as we have practice time leading to the conference tournament and Regionals,' said Coach Brownell. Looking forward, the Thunderbirds are set to compete next at the same venue, Wild Rock Golf Course, on May 20, 2025, for the Badger Conference Tournament.
