BARABOO, Wis. — Behind a meet-leading all-around from Zeva Valley and strong scores across all four events, Baraboo High School posted a 131.825–125.375 victory over Reedsburg Area in a varsity girls gymnastics dual Tuesday at Baraboo High School.

Valley paced the Thunderbirds with a 34.750 all-around, highlighted by the top beam score of the night at 9.10 as Baraboo turned in its strongest event on that apparatus with a 33.250 team total. Hadley Porter added a 33.400 all-around and delivered the meet’s best floor routine with an 8.75, helping Baraboo to a meet-high 33.425 on floor to close out the win.

Baraboo was consistent from the start, opening with a 32.900 on vault to edge Reedsburg’s 32.600. Valley led the Thunderbirds on vault with an 8.45, while Porter added an 8.20 as Baraboo built an early cushion.

The Thunderbirds created more separation on uneven bars, where Valley again set the standard with an 8.55 as part of a 32.250 team total. Additionally, six Baraboo gymnasts earned new personal record scores on the event. That rotation proved pivotal as Baraboo outscored Reedsburg 32.250–28.650 on bars, widening the overall lead at the midpoint of the meet.

On Beam, Valley’s 9.10 anchored a 33.250 team score that stood as the Thunderbirds’ second-best event total. Porter added an 8.15 as well. On floor, Baraboo closed the meet with its highest event score, a 33.425, powered by Porter’s 8.75 and Valley’s 8.65. Valley and Porter’s one-two finish in the all-around, combined with the Thunderbirds’ event sweeps on vault, bars, beam and floor, underscored a complete team performance as the conference schedule continues.
