Under the leaden sky and amidst sporadic rain showers at Baraboo High School, the Baraboo Thunderbirds boys soccer team delivered a riveting performance against the Onalaska Hilltoppers on October 21, 2025, concluding with a 4-2 victory. This Regional playoff victory not only showcased their offensive prowess but also demonstrated resilience in challenging weather conditions.
Justin-Lee Penn opened the scoring for Baraboo, followed by Brayden Ferrera-Hunter, which led to a 1-0 advantage by halftime. The match's intensity escalated in the second half as each team vied for dominance. Baraboo’s Colton Klongland not only scored twice, including the game-winning goal but also contributed an assist, proving instrumental in the match's outcome.
