Baraboo Thunderbirds Face Tough Loss Against La Crosse Central River Hawks in Varsity Football

The Baraboo Thunderbirds Varsity Football team was defeated 42-20 by the La Crosse Central River Hawks in their second conference game of the season at Roger Harring Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on the evening of September 12, 2025.

During the first half, the Thunderbirds battled strongly, managing to keep close to their opponents. A key interception by defensive back Drake Niles towards the end of the half allowed Baraboo to score a critical touchdown, making the halftime score 21-14 in favor of La Crosse Central.
