In a challenging outing at Reedsburg, the Baraboo High School Thunderbirds faced a tough defeat against the RWD Cheavers on February 7,. The final tally saw the Thunderbirds down 5-1, reflecting a game where momentum predominantly stayed with RWD. The first period set the tone as Ryan Manley of RWD pierced Baraboo's defense to score the opening goal at 3:40, marking a 1-0 lead for the Cheavers. The Thunderbirds, aggressively trying to tie the score, held off further advances until intermission.
