Zeva Valley Qualifies for WIAA State Gymnastics Meet in Multiple Events

Baraboo High School gymnast, Zeva Valley, has once again demonstrated her skill by securing a spot in various events at the upcoming WIAA Individual State Meet. Valley, a sophomore, achieved qualifying scores in the Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise during the Division 2 Dodgeville Sectional this past weekend, showcasing her versatility and precision in the competitive field. This achievement marks Valley's second consecutive qualification in the Bars and Floor routines, with a new addition this year on the Beam. At the sectional competition, Valley performed remarkably, securing fifth place on Bars with an 8.3, third on Beam scoring 8.925, and fourth on Floor with a score of 9.2. Despite just missing a qualification in the All-Around category by a mere tenth of a point, Valley's performance remained outstanding throughout the events. Last year, Zeva Valley also represented Baraboo High at the state meet, finishing 12th on Bars and 11th on Floor. Given her continued growth and experience, expectations are high for her upcoming performances at the state level. Additionally, Valley is coming off of a strong showing at the Badger Conference Championships, placing fourth on Vault with a score of 9.0. Head Coach Haley Ebben expressed pride in Valley's accomplishments, "Her dedication and hard work this season has paid off and we know she will do great at State this weekend!" The school community and fellow teammates eagerly anticipate her representation of Baraboo High as she competes alongside the best in the state.
