BMHS Earns 3-0 Shutout With Three First-Half Goals

BEREA, Ohio - Berea-Midpark High School’s girls soccer team delivered the decisive scoring before halftime, earning a 3-0 soccer victory over Twinsburg on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 10270 Ravenna Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087. The match was Twinsburg’s senior night. All three goals came in the opening half, giving the Titans an advantage they protected through the final whistle.
Arnold led the scoring line with two goals, while Cuiksa added the other finish. Harold recorded two assists, contributing to an attack that produced both assisted and unassisted goals. Cuiksa’s goal came without an assist, adding an individual scoring contribution to the Titans’ productive first half in Match 15.
Both of Arnold’s goals were assisted by Harold, with the two connections completed before the break. Those finishes helped establish the three-goal halftime margin. The Titans did not add to their total in the second half, but Twinsburg also remained scoreless as Berea-Midpark preserved the opening-half advantage.
Chrysanthus earned the clean sheet, providing the defensive counterpart to the early scoring. The shutout meant the Titans finished both halves without conceding, pairing their first-half attack with a scoreless second half at the other end. Sarges received Fruit Stand WOTM recognition to complete the individual honors from the victory.
Berea-Midpark moves to a competitive record of 9-5-1 with two games to until playoffs.
