Broadview Heights, Ohio - Berea-Midpark’s Titans Girls Golf team came within one stroke of Midview on Wednesday, Sept. 2, falling 222-223 in a closely contested home match. With little separating the teams across the final totals, Midview finished at 222 to secure the victory.
Senior Isabella led the Titans with a team-low 52. That score provided the foundation for Berea-Midpark’s 223 total and kept the Titans within striking distance in a match where every shot carried added importance.
The one-stroke difference was the defining feature of the match. Berea-Midpark remained close enough that a single saved stroke could have forced a tie, while Midview’s collective 222 proved just enough to prevail.
