Shiever Leads Titans Past North Olmsted 6-1 in Regular-Season Finale
BEREA, Ohio - Shiever scored twice and added two assists as Berea-Midpark High School closed its girls soccer regular season with a 6-1 victory over North Olmsted on Saturday, Oct. 17, in North Olmsted. Five Titans scored in the team's 17th match, giving the attack contributions from several players in the regular-season finale.
Shiever was the only Titan with multiple goals, while Harold, Arnold, T. Watkins and Cuiksa each added one. Those four single-goal contributions accounted for the rest of Berea-Midpark's scoring. The Titans finished with a five-goal margin, pairing Shiever's two-goal performance with scoring support that extended across four additional players rather than relying on one scorer alone.
Harold also supplied two assists, matching Shiever for the team lead in that category. Together, the pair recorded four assists while contributing three of the Titans' six goals. Both players finished with a goal and an assist or better, providing finishing and setup work in the same match as Berea-Midpark completed its regular-season schedule.
The Titans now turn to a playoff matchup against Brunswick after wrapping up Match 17 with the win over North Olmsted. Shiever's production included a direct contribution as either scorer or assister on four of Berea-Midpark's six goals. That performance earned Shiever the Fruit Stand WOTM honor.
