Berea-Midpark struck early and never surrendered its advantage Wednesday, rolling to a 4-0 home victory over Midview behind three first-half goals and a complete defensive effort. Arnold delivered the decisive opening goal off an assist from Harold, giving the Titans a lead they steadily expanded on a mainly clear, 92-degree afternoon in Berea.
The Titans continued to turn strong buildup play into scoring opportunities throughout the opening half. Shiever doubled the advantage with the second goal, finishing a chance created by sarges. Harold then moved from playmaker to scorer, converting the third goal after an assist from Cuiksa to send Berea-Midpark into halftime with a commanding 3-0 lead.
Berea-Midpark added another well-connected attack after the break. Cuiksa, who had helped create the final goal of the first half, found the net in the second half with an assist from T. Watkins. That combination completed the scoring and gave the Titans four goals from four different finishers, a reflection of the team's balance in the attacking third.
The clean sheet provided another reason to celebrate. Berea-Midpark's collective defensive work kept Midview off the scoreboard through both halves, while Beckwith and Dietz shared in preserving the shutout. The Titans paired that discipline with productive passing in attack, recording an assist on each of their four goals.
Harold earned Fruit Stand Women of the Match honors after contributing a goal and an assist to the victory.
