FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio - Berea-Midpark closed its 2026 boys golf regular season with four counting scores in the 30s, defeating North Ridgeville 152-164 on Friday, Sept. 18. The 12-stroke victory gave the Titans a 5-2 overall record and a 4-2 mark in conference play.
Thomas Harrington and Ryley Mason shared medalist honors with rounds of 37, giving Berea-Midpark a steady presence at the top of the lineup. Oliver Marcelo and Gavin Wagner each added a 39, completing a tightly grouped scoring card in which only two strokes separated the Titans’ four counting rounds.
Mason delivered the round’s biggest moment on the 17th hole. Playing from 50 yards out, Mason holed the shot for an eagle, a late highlight that helped secure the co-medalist score and provided an important boost to Berea-Midpark’s winning team total.
The Titans’ consistency proved decisive. Harrington and Mason combined for a 74, while Marcelo and Wagner totaled 78. Together, their four rounds added up to 152, giving Berea-Midpark enough separation to finish ahead of North Ridgeville’s 164.
The match began at 4 p.m. in Fairview Park with mainly clear skies, a temperature of 73 degrees and winds of 15 mph. Berea-Midpark handled those conditions with balanced scoring across the lineup, and Mason’s eagle on No. 17 supplied the signature finish to a winning regular season.
