Titans Earn First Shutout of Season in Scoreless Draw With North Olmsted
The Berea-Midpark boys soccer team secured its first shutout of the season Wednesday, battling North Olmsted to a 0-0 draw behind a resilient defensive performance. With neither side able to produce a goal, the Titans’ work in front of their own net proved decisive in preserving the result.
Senior goalkeeper Mahmoud Mustafa and the Titans’ defense combined to earn the clean sheet, staying composed throughout a match in which one mistake could have determined the outcome. The back line held firm under pressure, protecting the penalty area and helping Berea-Midpark keep its opponent off the scoreboard .
The Titans had no shortage of offensive opportunities throughout the match. Each one denied by a standout performance by the Eagles goalkeeper.
