Titans Football Face a Hard-Fought 42-38 Loss Against Rival Olmsted Falls

OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio - Tensions were high Friday night, October 9th, at Charles A. Harding Stadium as Berea-Midpark faced their rival, Olmsted Falls, in the Battle of Bagley football game. The Titans had a strong First quarter, with Harden running in the first touchdown for the Titans. Frederick then continued the momentum with a crucial fumble recovery, which allowed Papushak to throw a 70-yard touchdown to Reese. Papushak threw for 2 touchdowns while running in another touchdown toward the end of the 2nd quarter. Novicovik ended the first half with an astonishing 37-yard field goal, putting the Titans ahead to end the first half.
The Titans continued the fight in the second half but unfortunately fell short, with the Bulldogs scoring a last-minute touchdown, leaving the score at 42-38.
The varsity result followed a 34-0 victory by the Titans' freshman team over the Bulldogs Thursday. Berea-Midpark's junior varsity team added a 12-6 win over Olmsted Falls on Saturday, giving the program victories in both of its other matchups with the rival. The Titans will look to bounce back in their next contest at Elyria on Friday, Oct. 16.
