T. Watkins delivered the decisive goal in the first half, and Berea-Midpark protected the advantage to earn a 1-0 victory over North Ridgeville on Wednesday night in North Ridgeville. The Titans improved to 6-2-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play with their second clean-sheet victory of the season's first nine matches.

The winning sequence began with a corner kick during a first half played in light rain and 73-degree conditions. Cuiksa provided the assist, sending in the service that Watkins converted to put Berea-Midpark ahead. In a match where one well-executed chance made the difference, the Titans capitalized on the set piece and carried the 1-0 lead into halftime.

With the offense holding the narrow edge, Berea-Midpark's defensive effort took center stage. Beckwith kept North Ridgeville off the scoreboard and finished with the clean sheet, helping the Titans make Watkins' goal stand through the second half. The collective composure required to close out a one-goal match offered another encouraging sign for a team building momentum in conference competition.

Arnold earned Fruit Stand Woman of the Match recognition for the performance. Along with the key contributions from Watkins, Cuiksa and Beckwith, the honor highlighted a complete Berea-Midpark effort in which timely execution, defensive resolve and sustained focus produced an important road result.

The 1-0 finish gave the Titans another reason to celebrate a strong start to the season while moving them two games above .500 in conference play. Berea-Midpark leaves North Ridgeville with three more points in the standings and wishes North Ridgeville the best of luck the rest of the way.
