Eight Ventures Score as Bishop Foley Beats Austin Catholic 8-0

Eight different players scored as Bishop Foley Catholic High School defeated Austin Catholic 8-0 on Tuesday, September 29, in Chesterfield, ending the match by the mercy rule. Andrew Bishop contributed a free-kick goal, and Zachary Niphoratos recorded the shutout as the Ventures paired a balanced attack with a scoreless defensive performance.

Nolan Zielinski, Max Ensley and Isaac Marcial each scored once for Bishop Foley. Their contributions were part of an eight-goal effort in which no player scored more than once, spreading the finishing responsibility across the Ventures’ attack. The final margin reflected that collective production rather than a multiple-goal performance from any one scorer.

Bishop supplied the set-piece highlight, scoring directly from a free kick. Alex Marcu, Blake Olsowy, Matthew Robinson and Owen Pounds also added one goal apiece to complete the scoring group.
