Barracudas Celebrate J. MacPhail's National Select Camp Selection
In a significant recognition of talent and dedication, Jake MacPhail was selected to attend the prestigious USA Swimming National Select Camp. This camp took place last weekend at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. MacPhail stands out among the 52 nationwide athletes chosen in each competitive category for this honor, marking a milestone in the young swimmer's career. Athlete selection was based on the highest individual IMX Power Point scores during the qualifying window from January 1 to August 31, 2025, using only long course times, or on results from the 2025 USA Swimming Open Water Junior National meet. Barracudas continue to contribute significantly to the swimming community by supporting their athletes' development and ensuring they have the opportunities to compete and train at the highest levels. As MacPhail attended the National Select Camp, the club looks forward to further enhancing its training programs and continuing its legacy of developing competitive swimmers into national contenders and national club recognition in 2026. Congratulations, Jake!
