As the calendar marks a vibrant period for Central Lake High School, the Trojans gear up for an exciting homecoming week filled with various festivities and athletic events. Central Lake High School, known for its spirited community and strong football program, will host a series of events culminating in the homecoming dance on Saturday night. The week has been marked by enthusiastic student participation, highlighted by today's 'Dress in pink' day. Other spirit days included 'pajama day', 'jersey day', 'throwback/retro day', and of course, 'blue and orange day'! The students' energy is aimed at boosting school spirit ahead of the homecoming parade scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Friday, just before the football showdown. Additionally, the students and community are eagerly awaiting the Powderpuff football game tonight at 7:00 p.m., which is a celebrated part of the school's homecoming traditions. The focal point of the week will be the halftime crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen during Friday's football game. Candidates for Senior King and Queen include Grant Miller, Jonah VanSice, William Triplehorn, Claire Shooks, Savannah Duff, and Aspen Evans, representing a blend of the school's leadership and spirit. The school has also nominated representatives from other classes to embody the inclusive spirit of the event, which includes juniors Jamieson Pringle and Brooklyn Kowalski, sophomores Gary VandenBrook and Maleeya Hibbard, and freshmen Hunter Bock and Duff. Good luck to all of our King and Queen candidates! Come on out and support your Trojans this week and help cheer them on to a CLE victory!
