Arc Wrestling's Sims Takes First, Dancy Third at Riverside Rumble
Brush High School Boys Wrestling tied for 8th place at the Riverside Rumble on this weekend, scoring 111.5 points among 23 competing schools. The event was highlighted by a standout performance from sophomore Josiah Sims, who was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler. Sims went undefeated with a 4-0 record, clinching the 132-pound title. His dominance included two victories by technical fall, underlining his prowess on the mat. Meanwhile, junior Charlie Dancy also made headlines by securing third place in the 126-pound category. Dancy completed the weekend with a 3-1 record, including a decisive win against Steven Roacha from Riverside, pinning him at 2:54 in the third-place match. Additionally, Aaron Lockett showed strong form by finishing fifth in the 165-pound category. Looking ahead, the Brush High School Wrestling team will next compete in the 65th Annual North Canton Holiday Wrestling Tournament this Friday and Saturday.
