Brush High School celebrated a significant milestone in their cross country program as freshman Kasey Flowers qualified for the state championships, scheduled to take place this Saturday at Fortress Obetz & Memorial Park in Obetz, Ohio. Flowers, running for the Brush Arcs, has shown remarkable prowess in her debut season, leading her team to the regional championships for the first time in numerous years and now advancing to the state level as the sole representative from Brush. During the regional championships, Flowers clinched an individual 45th place with a time of 20:02.89. Her performance not only highlighted her potential but also played a critical role in the Arcs' team advancement. As the freshman runner prepares for the state meet, her achievement marks a significant accomplishment, indicating a promising future in the sport for both her and the Brush High School Cross Country team.
