Brush High School Arcs Triumph in Season Finale Against Cleveland Central Catholic
In a monumental season finale, the Brush High School Arcs football team hosted Cleveland Central Catholic on Friday, marking the last game of the regular season and a celebratory senior night for 20 Arcs players. The game ended in a resounding victory for the Arcs, with a final score of 45-18 against the Ironmen. The first half saw the Arcs take a commanding lead, closing at 21-6. Key players made significant contributions, including Trumar Salette, Aiden O'Neal, Jay Gilchrist, Zion Kenner, and Mike Dennis, who collectively scored touchdowns. Jay Gilchrist stood out with two touchdowns, boosting the team's morale and lead, while Zion Kenner scored his memorable only touchdown of the season. Defensively, the Arcs were equally impressive. Andrew Jackson made a pivotal play by recording his first career interception, a moment that highlighted the team's robust defense. Trumar Salette, not only contributing offensively, also led the team with seven tackles, showcasing his versatility and leadership. The victory ensured that the Brush Arcs ended their season on a high note, extending their winning streak to four games to close out the 2025 campaign at 6-4.
