The Brush Lady Arcs soccer team triumphed over Canton McKinley Bulldogs with a dominating 4-0 win on Monday at Korb Field. The first half showcased the skill of Brianna Reed, who scored the opening goal for Brush with 31:55 left on the clock. Reed capitalized on a free kick that ricocheted to her, and she adeptly put the ball away from 15 yards out. Her prowess continued as she scored a second goal following a throw-in. Reed maneuvered through two McKinley defenders to find the net, establishing a secure 2-0 lead for Brush by halftime. In the second half, Brush maintained its aggressive play, with Reed scoring her third goal and completing a hat trick. Emmie Farren also contributed to the scoreline with a goal, further extending the lead. Reed, not just a scorer, also provided an assist during the game.
