Garfield Heights Spoils Arcs Homecoming With 28-8 Win
In a challenging homecoming football game on September 26, 2025, the Brush High School Arcs faced off against the Garfield Heights Bulldogs at Korb Field. The game concluded with the Bulldogs securing a 28-8 victory over the Arcs. The first half proved difficult for the Arcs, as Garfield Heights capitalized on key opportunities including a muffed punt by Brush, leading to a Bulldogs possession deep in Arcs' territory. This facilitated two touchdowns for Garfield Heights, setting the halftime score at 14-0 in favor of the Bulldogs. Throughout the game, Garfield Heights demonstrated a strong offensive game, outgaining Brush with a total of 436 yards, including 316 yards on the ground. The Arcs struggled to gain a footing, finishing the game with a total of 265 yards. The third quarter saw no change in the scoring dynamic, maintaining the Bulldogs' lead.
