Lady Arcs Triumph Over Padua Bruins in a Staggering Comeback
In an electrifying display of skill and resolve, the Brush girls basketball team overcame a challenging first half to secure a remarkable 63-54 victory against the Padua Bruins on Saturday, extending their winning streak to five games. The first half saw the Bruins leading with a comfortable score of 31-23. Despite this early setback, the Arcs showcased their tenacity, particularly in the second half of the game. Junior Tatiana Mason delivered an awe-inspiring performance, scoring 22 of her total 33 points after halftime, with 16 points coming in the crucial third quarter alone.
