Lady Arcs Win Sixth Straight with 59-45 Victory Over Notre Dame Academy

Sunday afternoon the Brush Lady Arcs clinched a decisive 59-45 victory over Notre Dame Academy at Anthony Wayne High School. Dominating the court, the Lady Arcs extended their winning streak to six games. The first half saw a tightly contested game, concluding with Brush leading 27-20 at the break. The Lady Arcs' effectiveness in rebounding was evident throughout the game, with a total of 35 rebounds compared to Notre Dame’s 24, including 13 offensive rebounds. Key players such as Nylah Mason, who scored 14 of her game-high 27 points in the second half, significantly impacted the game’s momentum. Tatiana Mason and Jakalyn Brown also played pivotal roles as they both recorded double-doubles. Mason scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, while Brown added eight points and 11 boards. Their contributions on both ends of the court were crucial to maintaining the lead and securing the win. The game ended with Brush keeping a comfortable lead, marking a final score of 59-45. Looking ahead, the Lady Arcs are set to host Africentric on Saturday, December 27 at 1pm.
