Drury University Women's Lacrosse Prepare for WCLA Nationals in Wichita, KS.

As Drury University's Women's Lacrosse team wraps up the end of their regular season, they are gearing up for something new, a post season, by heading to the WCLA Nationals in Wichita, KS. Head coach Robert Brucken ends a successful regular season for the Panthers in his third season at the helm. The team is coming off a solid performance this season with a record of 6-2-1 and is looking to capitalize on that success at they head to, Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, KS, May 6th- May 9th. The Panthers have a strong roster returning, including Senior Attack Molly Pemberton, Junior Midfielders Tylin Heathman and Kylie Farquhar, and Junior Defender Landry Parnell. These key players are expected to play a significant role in the team’s performance during National title run. Having secured an at-large bid and a #11 ranking. Coach Brucken, with a career record of 16-12-2, is optimistic about the team's prospects. 'This season is paramount for us, assembling a strong squad and focusing on strategic plays has been our priority,' says Coach Brucken. The Panthers' schedule includes challenging matchups against teams like Boise State University and the University of Missouri during the pool play stage. After pool play the Panthers will continue playing on to decide their future.
