Gahanna Lincoln’s boys bowling program delivered a strong road performance Thursday night, topping Hilliard Bradley 2,375–2,059 at AMF Stardust Lanes in a complete team effort that showcased both depth and consistency. The Lions controlled the match with back-to-back 1,000-plus traditional games, then closed the door in Bakers to secure the comfortable pinfall victory.

The Lions set the tone early with a 1,002 pin total in the first game, establishing a lead they would not relinquish. They backed it up with a nearly identical 1,006 in the second game, demonstrating steady shotmaking up and down the varsity lineup. That balance across both games provided the foundation for the 316-pin final margin and gave the team a clear edge heading into the Baker portion of the match.

Three starters led the charge with impressive two-game series over 400. Kael Clous paced the Lions with a 419 series, highlighted by a clutch 243 opener followed by a 176. Mitchell Genson matched that high-level production with a 417 series, bouncing from a 182 in game one to a powerful 235 in game two. Will Gray rounded out the trio of standout performers with a 415 series, posting games of 180 and 235 to keep the scoring pressure squarely on Hilliard Bradley.

Just as important as the top scores was the total-team involvement. All eight bowlers on the varsity roster saw action, whether in the traditional games or during the Bakers. That rotation allowed the Lions to stay fresh, reward hard work across the roster, and build valuable experience in match play situations.
