Gahanna Lincoln High School Lions Golf Team Competes at Medallion Country Club
The Gahanna Lincoln High School Lions Golf team participated in a varsity boys golf tournament at Medallion Country Club on August 7, 2025. Competing against a broad field of schools including Westerville North, Archbishop Moeller, and several others, the Lions finished 13th out of 24 schools with a team score of 425. The tournament, held in sunny weather with temperatures in the mid-70's, saw several standout performances from the Lions team. Top individual performers included Sergio Yamamoto, who led the team with a score of 73, followed by Tommy Mercer at 81, Kyle Cripe at 86, Leo Babcanec at 91, and Carson Hill rounding out the team with a 94. Looking forward, the Lions Golf team is set to participate in the Mount Vernon Invitational, which will be held at the Chapel Hill Golf Course on August 8th. This next event offers another opportunity for the team to showcase their skills and improve their standings.
