GLHS Girls Bowling Team Secure 2nd Place Finish at State Kick-Off Bowling Tournament
The Gahanna Lincoln High School's varsity girls bowling team showcased a strong start to their bowling season with a second-place finish at the State Kick-Off Tournament held on November 22, 2025, at HP Lanes. Competing against 20 teams, the Lions qualified in 8th position. During the tournament, they demonstrated impressive skill and teamwork. In the first round, the Lions beat Defiance, after which they faced and defeated Celina in the second round. Their victory against Wooster in the semi-finals advanced them to the finals. Although they gave a strong performance in the final round, the Lions fell to Perry High School, finishing in second place. One of the highlights of the tournament was Lacey Holden's outstanding performance. She clinched the 3rd overall position, scoring 598, and was honored as a member of the All-Tournament Team. Great team effort by the girls today. We still have plenty of things we need to work on but this was a good start to the season. Looking ahead, the Gahanna Lincoln High School Lions are set to compete next on December 1, 2025, at Stardust Lanes against Central Crossing.
