Seniors Lead Gahanna Lincoln Past Grove City With 2,002–1,417 Victory
Gahanna Lincoln’s five seniors set the tone from the first frame and never looked back, powering the Lions to a 2,002–1,417 victory over Grove City on Wednesday at the Grove City lanes. With the win, the Lady Lions improved to 8–2 on the season, turning in one of their more complete team efforts of the year behind strong individual series and a steady scoring pace across the lineup.
Senior anchor Lacey Holden led the way for the Lions, rolling a match-high 437 series that included the team’s top single game, a 231. Holden’s big number gave Gahanna Lincoln a reliable strike threat in each rotation and provided a scoring cushion that Grove City could not match. Her 231 game stood as the defining performance of the match and helped the Lions establish control early.
Fellow seniors Rachel Goldman and Jessica Goldman added strong performances with a 366 and 334 series respectively. Rachel had a high game of 216, and Jessica a 200 that kept the Lions’ scoring pressure consistent. Senior Kadince Grigsby also had a season high game of 171. Together, their series totals accounted for more than 1300 of the Lions’ 2,002 pins, underscoring the impact of the senior class in the win.
