What to Expect at The FEST Saturday at ForeFront Field

Join the community Saturday, August 15 for The FEST at ForeFront Field, home of the Lake Erie Crushers, at 2009 Baseball Blvd. in Avon. Tickets are available for $10, with a full day of music, faith, food and activities planned for guests of all ages. The featured artists will include Joe Melendrez, Riley Clemmons, Matt Maher and CAIN, providing live music as part of the day’s entertainment.
Families with young children can visit the Adventure Zone for games and activities. The Women’s Blessed Collective, sponsored by Keselman Construction Group, will feature vendors, interactive prayer, a bookmark craft, complimentary chair massages and first-come, first-served mini manicures. Speakers include Carla Gasser at 12:30 p.m., Kristi Capel at 1 p.m., Sara Carnes at 1:30 p.m. and Jackie Watcher at 3:20 p.m.
Guests can register for free drawings featuring prizes such as a $528 FOUNT tote, gift cards, house cleaning, wellness packages, conference tickets and a color-analysis experience. The Catholic Answers booth will also give away copies of “Sunday Will Never Be the Same” by Dawn Eden Goldstein. Visitors can learn more about the Women’s Blessed Collective and its mission throughout the day.
Faith remains central to The FEST. Adoration, the Book of Remembrance, family blessings and confession will be available, with confession beginning at 1 p.m. Rosary prayers are scheduled hourly from 1 to 4 p.m., and children’s prayer activities will begin at 45 minutes past each hour. The outdoor closing Mass starts at 8 p.m., with free Mass-only admission beginning at 7 p.m. Steve Angrisano will lead the music, and fireworks will follow Mass.
Food options will include affordable meals from The FEST Food Stand, Buckeye Chocolate kettle corn, fries, funnel cakes, lemonade and roasted nuts. Beyond Juicery + Eatery will serve smoothies, wraps and acai bowls, while ForeFront Field concessions will offer stadium favorites such as hot dogs, burgers, popcorn, pretzels and nachos.
