Lyndhurst Police Department Cheers on Brush High School Athletes to State Finals
As we approach the end of our winter sports season, we wanted to acknowledge our Brush High School athletes who have advanced to the OHSAA State Championships in their respective sports, and the Lyndhurst Police Department is rallying behind them with immense support. On March 7, 2025, School Resource Officer Lozada and Corrections Officer Little, along with other members of the Lyndhurst Police Department, led an escort from Memorial Junior High School to Sunview Elementary School to Lyndhurst City Hall in honor of these young athletes. The Brush Arcs Varsity Girls Basketball team, along with the Boys and Girls Varsity Wrestling and Varsity Track teams, have shown remarkable skill and dedication this season. Their journey from Brush High School, through Sunview Elementary, and eventually to Lyndhurst City Hall, underscores the community's pride and support. This gesture by the Lyndhurst Police Department not only highlights the department's commitment to community engagement but also boosts the morale of the students as they head into the pivotal State Finals. It's a day of celebration and unity, reflecting the strong spirit of the Lyndhurst community. Congratulations to the Brush Varsity teams, and best of luck in the finals....go Arcs!
