Enochs Football Opens New Chapter With New Systems and Leadership
Enochs Football enters the season focused on building a foundation under new head coach James Stacy. With new systems on both sides of the ball, the rebuilding Eagles will use each practice and game to develop their identity, strengthen team chemistry and establish the habits needed for long-term growth.
The transition requires players and coaches to learn together as Stacy and his staff introduce a new offense and defense. The program’s goals extend beyond its record. Hard work, accountability, teamwork and perseverance will be central to developing players and creating a program that Enochs High School and its community can be proud of in the seasons ahead.
Linebackers Matteo Rubalcava and Aidan Hake will take on important roles in the new defense. The Eagles want that unit to play with energy and pursue the football on every down. Mason Shaw will contribute on both sides of the ball, starting at cornerback while also working at running back. Their ability to adjust to new responsibilities will be important as Enochs installs its schemes and develops consistency.
The homecoming game against Gregori vs Enochs stands out as a key matchup on the schedule and will give the Eagles a chance to show their progress in front of their home crowd. Other notable tests include home games against Turlock and Thomas Downey, along with road contests at East Union and John H. Pitman.
Enochs’ next scheduled game is at home against Buhach Colony at 7 p.m. PDT Friday, Sept. 11, 2026. The season will provide a series of benchmarks for a program measuring success through development as well as results. For the Eagles, every snap is another chance to sharpen the new offense, fly to the ball on defense and move closer to the program they are working to build.
