Nordonia Girls Varsity Volleyball Continue Strong Season with Victory Over Twinsburg
The Nordonia Knights, showcasing their skills in a pivotal Suburban League match, secured a significant victory over the Twinsburg Tigers on September 30, 2025. The event, hosted at Nordonia High School, marked another win for the varsity girls' team, putting their current season record at an impressive 13-2. The match concluded with a sweep for the Knights in three sets with final scores of 25-20, 25-20, and 28-26, respectively. Several Nordonia players stood out during the match. Addison Lefeld, with her outstanding offensive skills, led the team with 14 kills and 3 aces. Defensively, Maddie Bollas was notable for her 6 blocks, providing crucial stops at the net. Furthermore, Victoria Intas contributed significantly with 26 digs, enhancing the team's defense, and Morgan Root facilitated the play with 23 assists, guiding the Knights through several challenging exchanges. Nordonia is scheduled to face Wadsworth next on October 1, 2025, at Wadsworth High School. The match-up between the Knights and the Grizzlies will be a battle for first place in the Suburban League.
