Nordonia Knight Celebrate Historic Tennis Achievement
In a historic performance at the Suburban League Tennis Tournament, Nordonia High School's Melanie Szugye clinched a groundbreaking second place in the first singles category, marking the highest finish ever by a Nordonia player in the tournament's history. Representing the Knights, Szugye's achievement has not only set a new benchmark for the team but also highlights her significant development and commitment to the sport throughout her high school career. Szugye, a senior and three-year letterman for the Knights, has been recognized for her dedication and constant improvement over her high school tenure. According to Coach Ryan Vehar, "Melanie is an extremely hard worker and continues to improve her game, I am extremely proud of her performance."
