Vote Daily to Help Greenfield McClain Win $1 Million for Field Renovation

Reid Hollinger | OIAAA | Oct 14, 2026

Greenfield McClain High School is a finalist in T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights competition, putting a $1 million grand prize for a field renovation within reach. McClain is the only Ohio school remaining in the competition. Please help one of our member schools advance by voting daily through Oct. 25.

Fans can cast one online vote each day and need a valid mobile phone number to verify their first vote by text. The finalist receiving the most votes in each of four divisions, West, Midwest, South and East, will advance to the championship round. Daily voting is a direct way for athletic administrators, member schools, families and community supporters to take part. Vote daily at https://www.t-mobile.com/brand/friday-night-5g-lights

The competition’s third season offers more than $8.4 million in total prizes. Each division has 10 finalists, and all 40 finalists receive $25,000 and a home game hosted by T-Mobile. The four division winners receive $250,000, a Gronk Fitness Gym and “The Big Deal” Student Leadership Award worth $5,000.

Vote totals combine daily votes with bonus votes earned through finalists’ social media challenges. Rankings are updated Monday through Friday, with Spirit Week bonus votes added on Fridays. The eventual grand-prize winner will receive $1 million toward a home-field upgrade, with a field unveiling and tailgate celebration planned for 2027.

T-Mobile is a proud sponsor of the Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (OIAAA). We ask our member schools and their communities to support McClain’s bid and share the daily voting reminder with their networks before the Oct. 25 deadline. The grand prize would fund a field renovation for one of our member schools and its student-athletes.
