Parkville High School Knights Clinch Season Opener in a Thrilling Finish
In an electrifying start to their regular season, the Parkville High School Knights secured a narrow victory against the Towson Generals with a final score of 8-7 at the Knight Diamond on March 21, 2025. This victory was marked by a dramatic last inning where Brian Crispin De La Cruz scored the winning run, propelling the Knights to a triumphant start.
The game, played under sunny yet cold conditions, saw the Knights demonstrating tenacity and strategic gameplay. Matt Rose was a standout, hitting a home run and driving in the crucial winning run with a line drive in the bottom of the seventh inning. Additionally, Weston Brine contributed significantly with two hits and three RBIs, while Nich Rodriguez's prowess was on display with a notable double.
