Taft College Women's Soccer Secures Victory Against College of the Sequoias

In a thrilling Central Valley Conference game under sunny skies in Visalia, CA, the Taft College Cougars achieved a narrow victory over the College of the Sequoias Lady Giants with a final score of 4-3 on October 3, 2025.

The match began intensely with both teams showing strong offensive efforts. Taft College took an aggressive approach from the start. Hayley Smith and Kayla Ramirez, both players for Taft, were instrumental in their team's performance. Smith scored two crucial goals in the first half, establishing a solid base for the team. At halftime, the score was evenly poised at 2-2.

The second half continued with the same vigorous competition. Taft's Kayla Ramirez stepped up, scoring two more goals, one of which was the game-winning goal near the match's conclusion.
